Stock Purchase Orders

I checked with support and they said there is no way to mark specific items on a PO as received. Yes, you can go into the project and mark them off. However, if you put stock order items on the PO, there is no way to tell if those stock items have been received. You can only mark project items received. Secondly, there is a lot of friction to go into the PO, check the product, then go into the project to change the status for our ordering manager. Would be great to be able to change an item's status within the PO screen. Also, the ability to add internal notes to a PO.

Do you mean being able to track inventory?

need to track from ordered in warehouse on job shelf and on truck, We also have multiple warehouses. Ned to be able to use a iphone or android or cheap scanner to scan bar codes. Manual entry / moving things causes errors. every item has a bar code

Haven't read all other comments, so apologies if this has been said before, but very much need the ability to search for projects that contain a particular product/inventory item. Vendors don't always label properly, so when I receive a product and I don't know which project it's for, I want to search for projects contain that product. I'm thinking that a search field that returns search results should be pretty simple. It really is a must-have. Hope others agree. Many thanks.

Warehouses

A "Warehouses" feature would be very helpful for creating Purchase Orders for inventory that is not project-specific.
Users could personalize each warehouse by editing the name, such as "Main Warehouse", "Michael's Garage", or "Justin's Van" and create Purchase Orders to add inventory to each warehouse. This inventory could then be pulled into a project as needed.
It would also be helpful to be able to transfer this inventory between warehouses, for example a bulk order of interconnects is received into "Main Warehouse" and some of those items are then transferred into "Justin's Van" to be used on an "as needed" basis.

We started using Sortly it works but has issues with multiple locations but the ability to scan in and out on a iphone or android is awesome.
