We need to be able to drag and drop or move up the item where we want. Not based on price or anything other option. As soon as this item is available we will switch from our current Proposal Software

Moving this back to planned as you can reorder products within rooms in the proposal, but we have a better user experience planed for doing so from a quote

@Nick - D-Tools Cloud PM: Thank you! We really need this. Proposals look really messy currently because we're unable to place related items or services together without making multiple locations / sublocations, etc. Even doing that isn't granular enough for official looking proposals.

How do I reorder Systems within a Room?
Nick - D-Tools Cloud PM
@Jason Brantley: To reorder system in a location, click the view by system in the left sidebar, and drag the system order you want. If you switch back to location, it then should show up in the system order which you selected.

@Nick - D-Tools Cloud PM: Thanks yes, support helped me find this. The UI is not clear at all that this is possible. There should be icons next to the System names that indicate that list is sortable and the items can be dragged and dropped, and a little hover over "Tip" pop might be nice. Even it was a Tip that only came up once, that you could then disable after you have acknowledged it.

It would be nice to be able to change the order of products within the quote as you are building it.

While you are working on this request, please be sure to do the following: 1) When in the "edit proposal " mode, all display order changes need to be reflected in "Preview Proposal". It is very odd to not see these changes reflected in all proposal views. 2) Any same model number accessories need to be listed individually, not grouped, if we are going to be able to use "display order" to place them under the appropriate product. That said, if you are working on displaying accessory items with the parent product line item they are linked to, request #2 may not be necessary. 3) Again regarding the "add accessory" feature, while it would be nice just to have these items list under the product line item that have been associated with, it would be even better if they were slightly indented to reflect that they are a sub item of the parent item.
