I wanted to give a little update here as it seems we have improved but have had slow downs at times. Our engineering team has put a plan in place to improve our backend services while we move to a more efficient front-end framework. This is all good work that will occur in October

Today we released an update which includes a number of performance improvements intended to address the reported slow down as well as optimizations to key areas of the application (ex Quote). I would love to hear how your experience has changed since this update. If you could leave a comment here or reach out to our support team I would greatly appreciate it! @Hunter - D-Tools Cloud PM: Prior to this update using d-tools cloud would drain my macbook pro's battery even when plugged into charger - just robbed it of processing and energy. Today my battery has stayed 100% all day and the fan hasn't been constantly on like previously. Thank you for improving!

@Hunter - D-Tools Cloud PM: Just an update Hunter, so far performance has been much better and haven't experience many slowdowns. The occasional hangs on larger proposals still occur but not as frequent after the initial first load. I will continue to keep you updated on the progress. Thanks again for getting an update on this!

I have the same issue. If I am going to keep using this service it needs to be much faster and allow me to navigate from opportunities and quotes very fast so I can answer customers questions that have multiple projects getting quoted at the same time.

Hello everyone. I wanted to give you a quick update on this post.
Today we released a handful of performance related improvements for our Quote interface. This is intended to reduce the time needed to load the following areas: item sidebar, search results, search suggestions, navigating between locations, and navigating between systems. These are just a few steps towards resolving this issue and more are on the way.
This is our top priority right now and we would love to know if the improvements are helping. Let us know by adding a comment to this post.

Our development team has identified the cause of the slow down over a period of time and is developing a fix - I will update this post once it goes live. @Hunter - D-Tools Cloud PM: This getting ridiculous now. Its becoming unusable and taking WAY TO MUCH TIME, to just browse a bid or ANYTHING in this platform. I just had to check a winning project and it took 8 seconds to just load the bid, another 10 seconds to go back. We cant work like this. Its one thing if this was free (BETA), but we are paying customors.

I've hit the same issue using the latest version of Chrome / Firefox. There seems to be a correlation between the amount of items added the the project that the page has to render. Once I start to remove items and re-test the page starts to load better however this defeats the purpose. I have tested this both under proposal and converting this to project and the delay still exists unless items are removed. I've specifically noticed latency start to kick in after 40+ items/services. I've attached some metrics showing over 40s load times which hopefully will help diagnose the issue further.

Hello everyone and thank you Mosey for posting! Our development team is investigating this issue and we are improving our QA processes to protect against these kinds of issues in the future. I'll update this post again once I have more information. @Hunter - D-Tools Cloud PM: updating a price seems to be worse - I have to double click in field to highlight then slowly type in the price or it skips over numbers and have to start over again. Overall no speed improvements that I can tell from my end

Hello @Jamie Jansen: Thank you for the feedback and sorry for the price issue!! To clarify, when you click on the price field it won't allow you to make an edit unless you double click or is it that you need to double click to select the entire price? Thank you in advance for the clarification.

@Hunter - D-Tools Cloud PM: double click to get the whole price. Even if you have the cursor at the spot and delete the number it keeps the position instead of string in line so you have to delete arrow over and place new number
